DAMA PROCESS AUTOMATION

Introduction:

While DAMA Process Automation (DaMa Software) have quite a few products and projects we remain focused on our core product SAM.  SAM is an integrated ERP system with a small section of MRP functionality built into it.

 

Customisation:

SAM is a malleable system which in our minds is an advantage over many of the packaged software solutions which are aimed at a similar market segment.  There are further “switches” built into SAM which allows for scalability if a client only requires a portion of the system.  This makes it very easy to enhance the experience when the customer’ business has grown and more functionality is needed.  The unique database design allows for this feature to be seamlessly activated when and if the customer requires it.

 

Architecture:

SAM has two major “jackets”: SAM4Windows has a Microsoft Windows™ look and feel and operates within the Windows™ framework

SAM4Windows is fully web service based and can therefore be accessed from anywhere as long as there is an internet connection.

SAM4Web is a sub version of the main product SAM4Windows, in which we expose certain functionality required by the client to be exposed to 3rd parties when needed. SAM4Web is a web application making it much easier to be access by 3rd parties.

 

Access Control:

Secure Access can be given to staff or third party users via the Internet.  This feature makes it possible to give auditors restricted access to reports and other queries which frees-up the time staff needs to spend with auditors.  Direct ordering can be done from customers / dealers via the SAM4Dealer interface.   SAM4Dealer is a unique communication system between the principal manufacturer or importer and the franchise or branch etc.  This communication system can and does manage aspects such as vehicle service plans, warranty, reordering, policies and procedures and general bulletins and communication to the branches or dealers.

 

Integration:

SAM communicates with an array of third party stakeholders, from the principal suppliers to logistic companies and banks – and has the ability to communicate with almost any other “entity”.  If employed in the automotive industry (our core focus) it communicates seamlessly with eNatis, courier companies, vehicle distribution, banks and the manufacturer as well as the total dealer network.[1]

 

Closing:

The graphic user interface of both SAM4Windows and SAM4Web are user friendly, easy to use and standardised throughout the system.

DAMA Process Automation’s a business model allows for onsite support at all times during the customer’ business hours, this allows for all changes which are within scope of the business and SAM (as set out in the SLA) will be done on the customer premises and will be free of additional development costs.
